Not sure why MF signalling would go to PDIL. You might want to turn on the logs for PDIL in TMTCNTL.OFFTREAT (or TMTCNTL PXTRKGRP if you use that table) to see if digits are missing at the beginning of the TN.

Also, you may want to try DTMF signalling though you may have the same PDIL issue.

The delay for DP may be caused by the extra time it takes to outpulse digits since DP is the old rotary dial.

The delay could also be caused when 7 digits are used or if a TIM selector is used in table HNPACODE so there are a number of factors for the extra time.

Alot of the NTP actions are overkill.
You should be able to add the cards and just bsy /rts as required.
similar to pdtc plgc NTPs used to tell you to bsy all the cside links.

Make sure your primary and backup D-channel are on the same DTCI. Also, make sure field L1FLAGS in table TRKSGRP is set to Y unless the other end is a Meridian 1 or an SL100 with that field set to N.

Looks like upping the number is not a big deal as long as you have enough memory in the switch. Dropping the number needs a cold restart .

Found this on Genbands web portal which should help you work out a decent value.
