This message board is intended for the sharing of knowledge by all who access this forum. You are encouraged to contribute by asking questions, offering answers and starting lines of discussion pertaining to telephone switching platforms and the telecom industry in general.
Please keep in mind that there are members of all experience levels and backgrounds, this means that there are many possible ways to answer a question or resolve an issue but there are no stupid questions nor is there any one perfect answer.
You will be interacting with members from companies other than yours, I expect everyone to treat each other as equals, there are no rivals here. If you follow the guidelines below I am sure you will have a pleasant experience here and help make this message board a pleasurable experience for others:
1. Assist members from other companies as though they work with you.
2. Provide mature and respectful answers no matter who asked the question or how much clarification they need.
3. Provide technical orientated information only, refrain from answering or asking company sensitive information such as number of subscribers, line counts, revenue, billing information, customer contact information, credit history, etc.
4. Encourage other people in the industry to join this forum.
That's it, I hope everyone enjoys this message board and finds it of use. Please e-mail me if you need any assistance.
