How to do a TRUE LRN Traver
Sep 29th, 2004 at 1:39pm

Bruce from Nortel has shared with me the real way to traver from a centrex line dialing a local number that is ported.

To create this traver this is what you must type:

traver L (10 dig originating dn) n cdn na (10 dig LRN) ainres r01(that is a zero) lnpar (10 dig terminating dn) b

This will spit back a traver resembling this test one:

>traver l 5083739997 n cdn na 9788399999 ainres r01 lnpar 5085282220 b
Warning: Routing characteristics are present.
Originator must be able to send in
        characteristics specified.

Hmmm...  Give me a scenario that you would need this kind of a traver?  This is if you want to traver from a number on the switch thats ported?

One thought about the "ain r01" portion of the traver. If in doubt of what version is applicable to that particular switch go to table trigdig and it should be reflected there...
