We have these logs periodically being generated (in bunches) for an SMA2.  I realize PM189 logs are "informational" and occasionally Nortel writes patches to suppress these logs (because they can be annoying instead of helpful), but I need to know if anybody can tell me what the log is complaining about:

xxxxx CM PM189 JAN03 15:31:20 6302 INFO PM SW Information Report
SMA2 12 Unit 1 : Act
TASKID: 00840084
MPAUDTK
, TIME: 15:31:20.25
TEXT :
AuOv
00 04 00 18 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

I think the
MPAUDTK
is an audit task, but I am unable to find anything on
AuOV
.

Any ideas?

Nortel Doc # NN10262-001 talks about using PMDEBUG Swerr Level diagnostics to assist with PM189's.

Do you have a copy of that Doc?

Yeah, I do have that document.  I was also using the NTP TAM-1001-004 and I can pull SWERs from the SMA2 itself, but without the "secret decoder ring", I am having a hard time deciphering the data.

I think one of the RDTs sending various messages for changes in line states is causing the problem, but I'm not sure.
