who has modified a table
Apr 17th, 2019 at 8:29am

Hello all,
I need to find out who has modified a table in the DMS, (table aniscusp).
Is this info logged in secret logs?

Currently I do not have access to the open secret command but if the info of who has modified a table is in there I will get temporary access or advise someone who does have access to the command.

Thank you

I believe table custprot will control the generating of the logutil logs. These would be tabl or tupc logs. I have always had good luck in looking in the jf files to see who has changed a table.

If you know the approximate date when the table would have been changed, then you can extract  the journal files which will show changes made to the table and the user name.  Even if you don't  know the date/time, you can still find it, you just have to search a lot of files.

Thanks mountain,
You are correct and that's what I had to do to get the info.

I was given access to the opensecret command and looked at tabl logs which gave me a date and time of the change. I then used that info to find and read the proper JF to get the details.
