how to enable CDR on 2W IT trunk group
May 17th, 2019 at 12:53pm

Can someone advise please...

Which table do I need to visit in order to enable CDR on a 2W IT trunk group?

You may want to look into tables including CLLICDR, CRSMAP, and CRSFMT. CDR has always been setup previously so kind of winging it....

Also, AMAOPTS has various CDR values, note though global in nature....

Thank you 1palm but none of those tables have what I'm looking for.

My customer tells me he has 2 2W IT trunk groups and one has CDR and the other does not.

I'm trying to find where the datafill is that has these two trkgrps acting differently regarding CDR.

I looked at the tables you mentioned but neither of the 2 trkgrps involved are mentioned in any of those tables.

Does anything else come to your mind?

If you were to traver working vs non-working, does anything stand out relative to the call type in STDPRTCT (eg NP, DD, OA)?

Asking because from AMA-DMS100-Class-5 perspective the call type is integral to the record creation. With CDR (DMS200, 250?, Class-4?) don't know.

If both travers use the same STDPRTCT then moot point. Would think since a per trunk group issue it would be something like eg AMATKOPT. Maybe one CLLI there the other not? Perhaps a >findref CLLI on both would lend a clue?

I think I may have found the problem but not sure.

I found table AMATKOPT and the trkgrp that has CDR has a tuple;

J05T605ILT2  (TRKINFO)  (TGMU Y N) $

and the trkgrp that does not have a CDR does not appear in this table.

The TGMU option causes a 950 call record for incoming and/or outgoing

Bet that's it. And you're correct the TGMU should generate a 950 AMA record.

You could consider adding AMATEST option to that CLLI in AMATKOPT as well and this can generate an AMAB 200 log in logutil for just the incoming, just the outgoing, or both sides of the calls that hit it. Consider the size of the trunk group when doing this and regardless the size you might add it - get the record of interest - then remove THE AMATEST option.

Should have mentioned there is a "member" option to the AMATEST if you know which trunk your test call might hit (eg if using MEM selector, etc).

thanks again 1palm

the amatest option looks useful and apparently memsel will take all or member, if member datafill subfield member
