How different are the commands between the 10 and the 100?

Nothing alike. They're both (mostly) brown but that's about where it ends. The DMS100 has a far more powerful set of resident tools, much more robust in craft interface, super versatile but bottom line is they're two different products.

The DMS-10 uses Overlays(OVLY). Move, Adds and Changes are done in OVLYs with “REQ” prompt.  Maintenance has the “>” prompt.  The DMS-100 uses Tables and MAPCI respectively.  Where the DMS-10 has two ways do a task, the DMS-100 might have five.  With the knowledge 1palm has that number can jump to seven.
Got to watch 1palm though, he recently kicked out a DMS-10 from it’s home. Smiley  Lucky that it has found a home with us.
But I agree that they are for different markets.  The DMS-10 is basic meat and potatoes, whereas the DMS-100 you can cook any thing you want.  Boiled water to a 8 course meal.
